2020 Election

Most of you do know that the 2020 presidential election is about a year from now, and some of you do know who the candidates are for the race as well. As of December 3, 2019, Kamala Harris has dropped out of the presidential race. This was a shocker to most people because she was one of the top candidates for this upcoming election. The reason behind this according to CNN, was that she was not able to raise any money for her campaign events.

    When looking up the candidates for the upcoming 2020 election. By taking a test on https://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz , you can see what party you have more in common with and what candidates have similar stances as you.

    Personally, I am not fluent in politics/politicians. Although, it is still surprising to see a top candidate fall off out of the race. Most top candidates can raise enough money toward their campaign to support their race. I wonder if she has an explanation as to why her funding collapsed.

Why it is important to preserve the environment

The various impacts humans have on the environment are common knowledge at this point, but what a lot of people don't know is the permanence of their actions. Recovering from future effects, and many of the impacts we've already seen, will be far more difficult than many people realize. For example, the Amazon Rainforest. Are you aware of what is in your food?

Many food providers and producers do not bring full awareness to the ingredients and parts of the products that they make and sell. Many companies hide ingredients to promote it as healthier. For example, Gatorade is known as a "healthier" drink than soda. It is promoted as being a healthy alternative to drinking soda. However, Gatorade contains as much, or more, sugar as soda. Recently, schools across the country have been replacing soda in vending machines with Gatorade. Another example would be flavored drinks. Most "fruit flavored" drinks do not include the actual fruit. The taste is coming from an artificial chemical.
