What makes a presentation good?
In class we talked about how we can do to make our 3rd writing assignment good. There are a lot of ways we can can do as students to succeed on our projects but what is the best way to improve our presentations?
The list that we made starts with not reading from our slides while presenting the reason for this is because when you read from your slides your audience will lose interest and therefore giving yourself a bad grade. Another thing to improve your presentation is to use bullet points to get to the point and keep it simple do not type put big long paragraphs about your argument because that is boring not just for your audience but also for yourself. Another way to improve your writing is to use picture and graphs below here is an example of a graph. This graph is just an example of what you could put into your presentation to help your argument with facts and can help keep your audience's attention.

I think another example to improve our presentations is to implement videos that supports your argument. Don't make the videos too long, in order to grasp the audience's attention.
ReplyDeleteMy group discussed how we could keep the audience involved in the presentation, and how this would let the audience have a better understating about what you are presenting. Using short to the point bullet points, Using videos made on the topic, and strong presenting skills were ideas we thought were must haves for presenting.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great points when constructing a presentation, and after watching everyone present I feel as though we all accomplished the task well. Graphs are really important when making an effective presentation. Another thing that is also a good feature in a presentation would be sound effects. This helps engage the audience and create questions that could be asked for later.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your examples of how to make a presentation good. There are many other ways too such as making it visually pleasing, not cluttered, all the fonts the same, making the words legible, and having good info.
